We’re excited to share the details of the upcoming update scheduled for Thursday, October 17th.
[Update Overview]
1. Three new events will be added. 2. Theme Cards: Star Player cards will be introduced. - Celebrate iconic players who defined their teams and made history with these new Theme Cards. 3. Game balance adjustments will be implemented. - Based on the valuable feedback from Team Owners, various balance changes will be made. 4. Challenge Mode: New challenges will be added. 5. Player unique faces have been updated. |

■ Theme Card - Star Player Card
The Star Player card, commemorating standout players who made a lasting impact on their teams, will be introduced.
- Star Player Theme Cards honor players whose exceptional performance made them iconic for their teams.
- Recruit these Star Players and relive their legendary moments.
- Check the probabilities for new Theme Cards on the [Official Website > Guide > Probability Info].
- Star Player cards can be obtained through the exclusive 'Star Player Pack.'

■ Game Balance Improvements
Based on feedback from Team Owners, several game balance adjustments have been made to enhance the gameplay experience.
Pitch Movement Adjustments:
- Knuckle Curve: Slight increase in lateral and vertical movement.
- Curveball: Slight increase in lateral and vertical movement.
- Sinker Master: Decreased lateral movement, increased vertical movement.
Challenge Mode Improvements:
1) Innings Adjusted:
- Certain challenges that began in the top of the 8th inning will now start in the top of the 9th.
2) Buffs Adjusted:
- The buff for Amateur Stage 1 will change from "Start with 1 Ball" to "Start on First Base."
3) Mission Difficulty Adjusted:
- Mission difficulty has been eased in accordance with the inning adjustments.
Player Enhancement Match Adjustments:
1) Innings Adjusted:
- Some Player Enhancement matches that started in the top of the 9th will now begin in the bottom of the 9th.
- Targeted Modes: Strike Trouble, Game Against League’s Best, Loaded Bases Showdown.
2) Home & Away Adjustments:
- In certain Player Enhancement matches, the home/away setup will change from Away (Defense) to Home (Offense).
3) Special Rules Changed:
- The special rule for Game Against League’s Best will change from ""Always Pitch Perfect"" to "Start with N Strikes (Home Team)."
- For the Loaded Bases Showdown, the special rule will now only apply to the Home Team.
4) New Special Rule Added:
- A special rule for the Loaded Bases Showdown has been added: "Start with N Points (Home Team)."
■ Challenge Mode
A new season of Challenge Mode will begin, with fresh challenges and missions.
- New Challenge Mode Period: October 17th, 9:00 ~ October 31st, before the update.

- Note: If you are playing Challenge Mode from the previous season when the new season starts, your completed match results will not carry over to the new season.
Challenge Mode Clear Reward Event:
- Hard Difficulty Speed Star All-Clear Rewards.
- Earn a special reward of 1.5 million Gold.

■ Other Improvements and Bug Fixes
1. [CPBL/Player Unique Form] R. Gomez of the WEI CHUAN DRAGONS will have his pitching form changed from overhand to three-quarters.
- 2024 Regular Player Card: Overhand to three-quarters
- 2024 All-Star Player Card: Overhand to three-quarters
- 2024 First Half Player Card: Overhand to three-quarters
2. [Event] Points required for each stage in the Points Race Event will be adjusted.
- The adjusted points due to the event period changes will be reverted to normal.
3. [PVP Season Mode] An issue causing matchmaking between significantly different tiers after exceeding the 15-second waiting period has been fixed.
