Greetings, this is Ho-chan Kang, Development Producer of Fantastic Baseball.

It feels like 2026 has only just begun, yet we are already approaching mid-February, with the Lunar New Year holiday just around the corner. Although I already shared New Year’s greetings at the start of 2026, I would like to take this opportunity to once again wish all our Team Owners who enjoy Fantastic Baseball a very happy and prosperous New Year.

Below is a brief overview of the major updates scheduled for February.

1. Player Release System Improvements

We have received significant feedback from Team Owners that the rewards obtained from releasing players, especially those you worked hard to develop, felt insufficient.

With the February update, in addition to the existing PP rewards granted upon release, you will now also receive Breakthrough Tickets based on the released player’s Breakthrough stage.

As player release rewards are being enhanced, we expect this improvement to better support Team Owners in developing new players and building stronger teams.

For players who have already undergone Limit Break upgrades, we kindly ask that you wait until after the late-February update before releasing them, so you can fully benefit from the improved rewards.

2. “Super” Player Card Update

Following the addition of the first batch of Super player cards in January, a second set of Super player cards will be added in February.

We will continue to provide ongoing updates so that you can consistently meet the most iconic and representative players from each league.

3. Availability of Retired Players (Korea Pro Baseball Retired Players Association)

We have some unfortunate news to share with our Team Owners. Due to the expiration of our licensing agreement with the Korea Pro Baseball Retired Players Association, certain retired players who have been available in the game will no longer be obtainable.

Please note that players you already own will remain unchanged, their names, images, and stats will continue to be maintained as they are.

However, following the update on February 26 (Thu), these players will no longer be obtainable in-game.

While it is regrettable that new acquisition of certain players will no longer be possible, we will continue striving to provide enjoyable experiences and meaningful content for all Team Owners.

The development team is currently preparing various system updates in conjunction with the start of the baseball season in March. As briefly mentioned in our previous Developer’s Note, we are working diligently to deliver a wide range of new content to welcome the upcoming season.

In the March Developer’s Note, we will share more detailed information regarding the season update.

The baseball season is just around the corner. As we enter a new season, Fantastic Baseball will also strive to approach our Team Owners with renewed energy and dedication.
